Welcome to Ramapo College!听 We are so excited to have you a part of the Ramapo College community.听 We have created a great experience for you and are confident that it will help you acclimate to life at Ramapo.听 New Student Experience is a multi-step process for all new students. Each step in the process is listed below and will be viewable in your admissions portal as they become available.

Spring 2026

• A full outline and detailed instructions for each of the steps below are outlined in your听.听 Log in to your portal to confirm your status on each of the steps listed below:

    • Transfer Students: Be sure to review your Transfer Credit Evaluation Cover Sheet (linked in your portal) to ensure no placement testing is required prior to your advisement appointment.
    • First-Year Students: Complete Placement Testing
    • Please note, for transfer credit, AP scores and/or SAT/ACT scores to exempt you from testing, you must officially send transcripts/score reports to听admissions@ramapo.edu.
  • Step 3: Complete听Virtual New Student Module (link available in your )
    • Please note, after November 3rd, access will be granted 24-48 business hours after your deposit has been processed by Admissions.
  • Step 4: Register for In-Person Advisement and Registration (link available in your )
    • Please note, your Virtual New Student Module must be completed before you attend.
  • Step 5: Submit Immunization Information – DUE January 2, 2026
  • Additional Reminders:
    • Residence Life will send information on or around December 1st including the New Student Housing Guide that will cover the details about housing and check-in for spring.
    • – Join the Office of Student Accounts and Financial Aid for a virtual Undergraduate financial information session.听 Two dates are available November 19th at December 10th at 7:30pm.
