Introduction and Outreach for Advisement Month

Subject: Required Advisement Meeting with your Faculty Academic Advisor

At Ramapo, October and March are traditionally designated as Academic Advisement Months. Please email me to schedule a meeting to discuss your academic progress and to plan course selection for next semester.

PRIOR to meeting me for advisement, you should do the following:听

1. Create a course plan, which will help you map out the courses you plan to take next semester.听
2. Carefully review the How-to guides on our MyAdvisor website, which will show you how to search for classes and how to register using our Web Self-Service system. It will also show you how to run a degree audit using our intuitive DegreeWorks system to determine what courses you will need to successfully complete to graduate.听听

I will lift your advisement hold after you attend our meeting.
