Gain Real-World Experience: Co-Ops andÌýInternshipsÌý

One of the ways that theÌýExtended Experiential Learning Component required by the Spanish Language Studies program can be fulfilledÌýis by completing a cooperative education (co-op) or internship. Ramapo’s cooperative education and academic internship programs create educationalÌýpartnerships between Ramapo College of New Jersey faculty, students, and employers to combine classroom learning with practical work experience.Ìý

Students who choose to participate in these programsÌýare matched withÌýlocal, state, and national employers through the school, and through assignments to aÌývariety of special projects and duties that blend academic requirements with company goals, students find themselves earningÌýcredit, and often a salary, while gaining valuable real-world experience.
