“隆Hola a todos! I鈥檓 an alumna of the 2009 Ramapo graduating class. I hold a degree in聽Spanish Language Studies and a minor in Latin American Studies. I studied abroad in聽Spain, and after graduation I decided to return to teach English to Spanish-speaking pre-elementary, elementary, and adult students. After mastering my Spanish skills in Spain聽and gaining some teaching experience, I decided to pursue a career in聽international education.”

“Upon my return, I began volunteering in the Study Abroad聽Office at a local community college. It was there that I learned how to conduct info sessions,聽advise students聽seeking study abroad opportunities, market programs offered, and聽capitalize on my overall knowledge of study abroad and its purpose.”

“Soon after, I was聽offered a position in Baltimore, Maryland with a leading student exchange organization. I聽have been there for 2 years, and it has afforded me the opportunity to work with exchange聽students, promote programs, and establish relationships with many educators. Spanish聽and my experiences studying abroad while studying at Ramapo College lead me to many聽opportunities that have set me on a path that I never imagined! I use my Spanish often to聽tutor high school students as well as to keep connected with all of my amigos in Spain.”
