The Ramapo College Pathways Program, administered through the Cahill Career Development Center, helps students develop a rich understanding of the career development process using resources and tools to embrace future possibilities.聽聽It is designed to guide and support undergraduate students as they prepare for their post-Ramapo plans through career exploration, self-assessment, experiential learning and professional development. The unique program is a graduation requirement, which includes exploring career options, creating and building a portfolio, and preparing to for job interviews.

LaQuan Norman, director of the Cahill Career Development Center, shared in magazine that, 鈥淚ndustry trends affect our coursework development, which helps prepare students to enter the market.鈥� Dr. Scott Frees, professor of computer science and director of 杏吧原创’s Center for Data, Mathematical, and Computational Sciences, shared, 鈥淐ompanies typically tell us how impressed they are with the 鈥榟ands-on鈥� skill our graduates already possess. We offer a unique focus on technical programming skills so our students can hit the ground running as software engineers. Our faculty members 聽and industry representatives, and faculty members also have experience as consultants, so the curriculum stays fresh even though the field is evolving quickly.鈥�

One of the resources available to students is the annual Career and Internship Fair. The 2023 event will be held on Wednesday, March 1, in the Bradley Arena from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., co-sponsored by MARCUM and Morgan Stanley. More than 80 companies will be available to meet with more than 350 students about job opportunities and #HireARoadrunner.
