Tertulia! featuring Ìý²¹²Ô»å
This dynamic evening begins with the screening of filmmaker Marta Bautis’ documentary Desarraigo Y Esperanza (Displacement and Hope) which tells the true story of a young Latin American man, Hermes, who leaves his village in Mexico for the U.S. and is adopted by Father Fabian Arias, now the guardian of dozens of minors who entered the US without documents. Following the film, Mate Amargo, will take the stage with their traditional Argentinian folk music accompanied by Tango dancers.
Join us for a pre-show conversation with filmmaker Marta Bautis and Fr. Arias at 7:00pm in the Adler Theater.
