Ramapo College has been operating study abroad programs in India since 2002. Currently, we are offering the following program opportunities:<\/p>\n
Apply Now<\/a><\/p>\n 16 Credits, 15 weeks Gain an insider’s view of the world’s largest democracy<\/strong><\/em> and second fastest growing economy<\/em><\/strong>, while earning 16 credits<\/em><\/strong> towards your degree.<\/p>\n Nothing looks better on your resume<\/em><\/strong> than the unique experience of living and learning in an emerging global power.<\/p>\n Affordable<\/em><\/strong>. The India Semester program costs approximately the same as a residential semester at Ramapo College, and there are scholarships<\/strong><\/em> available.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The program is designed to program students of many disciplines the opportunity to participate in this program and meet their academic requirements. The academic program is designed as follows:<\/p>\n Required Courses<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Additional Courses (pick 1<\/em>)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Additional Courses (pick 1<\/em>)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Each course includes local and one extended excursion throughout South India. Previous excursions have included:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Students will live in double or triple rooms, each with a desks, dressers and bathroom. Laundry service is available (at a fee) and wi-fi is generally available at all times. At the Fireflies Intercultural Centre, there is also a library, classrooms, multiple dining facilities, sculpture gardens, and much more.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Students complete a supervised, individual project. In India, students will participate in three course modules: Social & Cultural Issues; Sustainability in India; and Human Rights Movements.
