Gain Real-World Experience: Co-Ops and\u00a0Internships\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

One of the ways that the\u00a0Extended Experiential Learning Component required by the Spanish Language Studies program can be fulfilled\u00a0is by completing a cooperative education (co-op) or internship. Ramapo’s cooperative education and academic internship programs create educational\u00a0partnerships between Ramapo College of New Jersey faculty, students, and employers to combine classroom learning with practical work experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Students who choose to participate in these programs\u00a0are matched with\u00a0local, state, and national employers through the school, and through assignments to a\u00a0variety of special projects and duties that blend academic requirements with company goals, students find themselves earning\u00a0credit, and often a salary, while gaining valuable real-world experience. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span>For more information about \u00a0how to become involved with either of these exciting opportunities, please see the Cahill Career Center’s<\/span> Co-Op\u00a0Program and Academic Internships<\/strong><\/span><\/a> page!<\/span><\/p>\n
