This five-week summer bridge program is required for all incoming first-year EOF scholars to support a successful transition to college.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The in-person residential Summer Studies Institute is:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Sunday, July 5 <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2013 <strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/span>, August 5, 2026<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The EOF Summer Studies Institute, more commonly known as the EOF Summer Program, requires you to live on campus for the duration of the program. The program comes at<strong> NO COST<\/strong> to students, as the EOF Program and the College cover tuition, books, summer housing, and more!<\/p>\n<p>By participating in our EOF Summer Studies Institute, EOF Scholars will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Earn four (4) college credits during the five-week summer program<\/li>\n<li>Be assigned an EOF Advisor who provides one-on-one academic and personal advisement<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participate in Supplemental Instruction, including in-class support and group study sessions with professional tutors<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Be matched with a Peer Success Mentor who will continue supporting you through your first semester at Ramapo<\/li>\n<li>Have the opportunity to strengthen math skills through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/testing\/reclaim-my-math\/\">Reclaim my Math (for students who qualify) <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Participate in weekly workshops and special sessions with alumni and campus presenters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Steps to Success: Deposited EOF Students<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Congratulations on becoming an EOF Roadrunner! <\/strong><\/em>We are excited to welcome you to the EOF family this summer. Families should plan ahead for Thursday departures and Sunday returns.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursdays and Sundays, there will be one shuttle that takes students to and from campus to the Ramsey Route 17 Train Station and Garden State Plaza (access to a major hub for NJ Transit buses).<\/p>\n<p>The schedule for the shuttle will be provided at orientation.<br \/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>Can I have visitors during the summer program?<\/div><div class=\"c_content\"><br \/>\n<strong>Yes. <\/strong>For the safety and comfort of all residents, visitors and overnight guests are not permitted in the residence halls during the Summer Studies Institute unless approved by EOF staff and Residence Life.<\/p>\n<p>Any visitors are welcome to visit during the scheduled breaks, and must remain outside of the residence halls.<br \/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>What classes will I take during the summer program?<\/div><div class=\"c_content\"><br \/>\nStudents will take one four-credit academic course:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Critical Reading and Writing (CRWT 101 or CRWT 102) or<\/li>\n<li>Social Science Inquiry (SOSC 110)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both courses fulfill college graduation requirements and will count toward your GPA. Classes are held every morning, Monday through Thursday. A full program schedule will be shared by your EOF Advisor.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on your placement test (Accuplacer) scores, you may also participate in the Reclaim My Math Program, which is offered as additional self-paced study support. the room, and they student may receive a fine.<\/p>\n<p><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa schedule?<\/div><div class=\"c_content\"><br \/>\nStudents who have completed the Accuplacer placement test will be registered for summer and fall courses by their EOF Advisor.<\/p>\n<p>Summer schedules will be shared during New Student Orientation on one of the following dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>June 23<\/li>\n<li>June 24<\/li>\n<li>June 25<\/li>\n<li>June 30<\/li>\n<li>July 1<\/li>\n<li>July 2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During orientation, students will also register for their First-Year Seminar and review their Fall 2026 class schedule.<br \/>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\"><span class=\"fa-stack\"><i class=\"fa fa-circle fa-stack-2x\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-down fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><i class=\"fa fa-chevron-up fa-stack-1x fa-inverse\"><\/i><\/span>What do I need to do to successfully complete the EOF Program and keep my scholarship?<\/div><div class=\"c_content\"><br \/>\nAll EOF Scholars are conditionally admitted to Ramapo College through the EOF Program.<br \/>\nStudents who earn at least a 2.3 cumulative GPA may qualify for the Ramapo College Grant (RCG) Scholarship, valued at up to $20,000 over four years.<\/p>\n<p>Students who do not earn at least a 2.0 GPA during the summer program may not be permitted to continue at Ramapo College as EOF students in the fall semester.<\/p>\n<p>EOF staff are committed to supporting student success throughout the summer. Students may request a parking pass for the summer program.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that parking is free during the summer.
