{"id":5490,"date":"2018-06-01T13:35:19","date_gmt":"2018-06-01T17:35:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/catalog-2020-2021\/?page_id=5490"},"modified":"2020-09-23T22:52:21","modified_gmt":"2020-09-24T02:52:21","slug":"minimum-graduation-requirements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/catalog-2020-2021\/masters\/minimum-graduation-requirements\/","title":{"rendered":"Minimum Graduation\u00a0Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In order to qualify for a Ramapo College Graduate Degree, a student must meet the following graduation requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attain \u201cmatriculation\u201d status.<\/li>\n<li>Complete all degree requirements with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.\u00a0 All students are responsible for all\u00a0requirements specified in the College Catalog in effect at the time of matriculation. Students may choose to follow the requirements in a later Catalog but must notify the Office of the Registrar in writing of any changes prior to filing for graduation.<\/li>\n<li>Complete at least 75% of the required credits at Ramapo College.<\/li>\n<li>Submit a completed and signed graduation application to the Graduation Office (grad@ramapo.edu) by the posted deadline corresponding with the graduation semester and submit a non-refundable graduation fee.\u00a0The graduation application must include a detailed degree evaluation and be signed by the Program Director and the Dean to ensure that all requirements have been met or will be met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Graduation Office will process all graduation applications for a given cycle and notify applicants of their status (e.g., missing requirements).\u00a0The Graduation Office will prepare a list of candidates for graduation each cycle.\u00a0The Registrar will forward the list to the President for approval and presentation to the Mission Fulfillment Committee of the Board of Trustees.\u00a0The list shall include language indicating that the students listed are either candidates for graduation and that degrees will be conferred following successful completion of all degree requirements and final certification by the Office of the Registrar or that the students listed are graduates who have been conferred since they completed all degree requirements as certified by the Office of the Registrar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ramapo.edu\/catalog-2020-2021\/masters\/\">Back to Graduate Programs Policies and Procedures<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In order to qualify for a Ramapo College Graduate Degree, a student must meet the following graduation requirements: Attain \u201cmatriculation\u201d status.
